19 November 2010: TRILLIUM PARTNERS ADVISES ON THE SALE OF SCREEN DIGEST TO ISUPPLI

Trillium Partners (Trillium), the independent corporate finance advisory firm, has advised Screen Digest Limited (Screen Digest) on its sale to iSuppli Corporation, a global leader in electronics technology research and advisory services based in Los Angeles, California. The transaction was completed on 19th November, 2010.

Screen Digest is the world’s pre-eminent provider of online databases and market research covering film, TV, broadband media, mobile media, cinema, home entertainment, TV technology, and video games. Screen Digest and its wholly owned subsidiary Adams Media Research have been acquired by iSuppli Corporation, which in turn has been simultaneously acquired by IHS Inc, a NYSElisted global leader in the provision of information and insight on a wide range of industries.

Trillium specialises in M&A, financial restructuring and fund raising transactions and corporate finance advice. The firm has a core expertise in information products and digital media, providing support for clients as they undertake transactions to position themselves for future growth in digital revenues.

Trillium advised Screen Digest on all aspects of the transaction. In particular, Trillium: (a) prepared the selling materials with input from Screen Digest; (b) coordinated the sale process and communicated and negotiated with all potential acquirers; and (c) coordinated the work of and communicated with Screen Digest’s other advisers.

Allan Hardy, Screen Digest’s outgoing MD, commented: “Trillium ran an efficient and thoroughly professional process involving a large number of potential buyers around the world, and achieved a very favourable outcome for Screen Digest’s shareholders and employees.”

Stephen Routledge of Trillium added: “Screen Digest’s world leading niche position attracted strong interest from a broad range of strategic buyers, both in the UK and Europe, as well as overseas. The strategic and cultural fit with iSuppli and IHS ensures a solid platform for growth and a supportive new owner for Screen Digest. ”
