17 January 2012: TRILLIUM PARTNERS ADVISES CHANNELFLIP MEDIA LIMITED ON ITS SALE TO SHINE GROUP
Trillium Partners Limited (Trillium), the independent corporate finance advisory firm, has advised ChannelFlip Media Limited (ChannelFlip) on its sale to Shine Group (Shine), a leading global television production group. Terms were not disclosed.
ChannelFlip, which is based in London, is an award-winning online producer and broadcaster of premium, short-form original video content. ChannelFlip’s record of successful programming includes David Mitchell’s SoapBox, Harry Hill’s Little Internet Show and Richard Hammond’s Technology Yawn. Leveraging their proven expertise in developing brand partnerships and online communities, the existing ChannelFlip team will continue producing original content for online platforms as part of Shine.
Trillium specialises in M&A, financial restructuring and fund raising transactions and corporate finance advice. The firm has a core expertise in information products and digital media, providing support for clients as they undertake transactions to position themselves for sustainable future growth and profitability.
Trillium advised ChannelFlip on all aspects of the sale. In particular, Trillium co-ordinated the sale process and assisted ChannelFlip with negotiation, valuation and reviewing transaction structuring options.
